Obituary of Adam Lugo

Our beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016, in the comfort of his home. The youngest of twelve siblings, he was born on March 7, 1950 in Weslaco, Texas to the late Pedro and Angelita (Hernandez) Lugo, and recently celebrated his 66th birthday. He was a graduate of Vassar High School in 1968. He held various positions in sales throughout his professional career. However, Adam was a musician at heart and his passion for music is what he will be most remembered for. He performed with a variety of local live bands in the Saginaw Bay area for over forty years. A self-taught guitarist, there was nothing he enjoyed more than performing for others. He loved a variety of genres and enjoyed everything from country to classic rock music. His favorite musician of all was Santana.

Surviving Adam are his three daughters, Lt. Col. Jennifer A. Suarez-Lugo, U.S. Air Force (Retired), San Antonio, TX; Ms. Nicole A. (Lugo) Rinaldi (Eugene), Chicago, IL; Ms. Yvonne V. Lugo, Kansas City, MO; former wife of 22 years, Ms. Juanita B. Lugo, Saginaw; four beautiful grandchildren, Jeshua Adan, Jaila Nereida, Jonah Emmanuel Suarez-Lugo and Sofia Grace Rinaldi; and six siblings, Rita (Lugo) Aguirre, Saginaw, MI; Amparo (Lugo) Guerra, Santa Fe, NM; Guadalupe Lugo, Santa Fe, NM; Socorro (Lugo) Rodriguez, Saginaw, MI; Dolores (Lugo) Mora, Saginaw, MI; and Frank Lugo, Saginaw, MI.

He was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers: Eva (Lugo) Serrato, Candelario Lugo, Frutoso Lugo, Felix Lugo and Vicente Lugo.
