Ada W. Pennington, 71, of Heltonville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Ada was born September 4, 1945, the daughter of John Dale and Mary Evelyn Wampler.
She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved watching HGTV. She graduated from Unionville High School in 1963.
Ada is survived by her children, Richelle “Shelley” Franks (Darren) and Jacob W. Pennington, grandchildren, Mackenzie Marie Pennington, Lance Wilkerson (Ellie), and R.M. Ryan, great-grandchildren, Warrior Linq Wilkerson, MayLynn Hourihan, and L.M. Ryan, adopted children, Stephanie Sims and Darelletta Simon, sister, Linda Smith (Doug), nieces, Tereasa, Becky, Carrie, and Amanda, great-nieces, Emily and Serena, great-nephews, Landon, Holden, and Reyker.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas Lee.
