Ada Virginia “Sis” Bloomfield, 90, passed away Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born Aug. 30, 1924, in Ashland, the daughter of Elmer and Rose McCombs Hinds.
Ada was a graduate of Ashland High School and then St. John’s School of Nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse. She then became the bride of Lyle Richard Bloomfield on Sept. 28, 1946. Richard preceded her in death on March 12, 1983.
The family would like to thank Walker Nursing Home in Virginia for the care Ada received for the last four years.
