Ada N. Murphy, age 92, of Tecumseh, MI, passed away, June 22, 2016. She was born October 14, 1923, in Gratiot Co., MI, the daughter of Scouta & Mabel (Ringle) Chaffin. In 1951, she married Carmon Murphy in Angola, IN, he preceded her in death. Ada owned & operated her dog grooming business in Tecumseh for 35 years. She was the secretary and treasurer of the Tecumseh Lower Light Church for many years. Ada also managed Russell Square Apartments in Tecumseh for many years. She is survived by her son, Carson (Janet) Murphy of Blissfield, her grandchildren, Joseph & Melissa Alaniz, Tammy (Murphy) James Dotson, William & Dianna Murphy, Carl Murphy, Tina (Murphy) Van Camp and Brandon & Leigha Murphy, thirteen great grandchildren, her brother, David Chaffin and two sisters, Darlene Ringle & Thelma Chaffin. In addition to her husband Carmon, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Carlton and Samuel Murphy, her daughter, Linda McClain and her sisters.
