Ada M. Smith, 94, of Rising Sun, IN, passed away at 6:55 AM, Friday, August 13th, at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg, IN. Ada was born in Patriot, IN on April 16, 1916, a daughter of the late Maggie (Ralston) and Clinton Koons. On August 30, 1947 she married Hobart Smith, who passed away on August 6, 1987. Ada served in the Woman’s Army Auxiliary Corps. (WAAC) during WWII.
