Ada Elizabeth Onley was born March 1, 1940 to the late Matthew C. Johnson and Fannie Elizabeth Geter in Washington, D.C. Ada departed this life peacefully on July 12, 2020. She was a resident of Rockville, Maryland.
Ada is survived by her daughter Avis Lee, son in law Carroll Lee, Patricia Adeleke (sister), Ernestine Thervill (sister), Norbit Thervill (Brother in law), Ava D. Gales (sister), Jerry Johnson (brother), and a host of nieces and nephews. Ada was also predeceased by Margaret Laws (sister), Robert Johnson (brother), and David C. Johnson(brother).
Ada was known for her hospitality and dedication to serving others. Ada was an independent and strong woman who loved and cared for all. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.
