ABIGAIL ELIZABETH VARELA, 54, former resident of Lordsburg passed away Friday October 9, 2015 at her home in Arcadia, California following a long illness.
Abigail was born December 29, 1960 in Silver City to Guadalupe and Isabel (Medina) Varela. She was a 1979 graduate of Lordsburg High School and later moved to California. Most recently she was living in Arcadia, California where she worked as a Pharmacy Tech.
She is survived by her brother, Reynaldo, “Skitter” Varela and his wife Rebecca of Lordsburg, her sister, Veronica M. Martin and her husband John Jr. of Los Angeles, California; and numerous nieces and nephews. Abigail was preceded in death by her father in 2011 and by her mother Isabel October 7, 2015.
