Newark – Aaron Mikel VanAuken, 21 died in an automobile accident on Sunday, October 20, 2002.

Aaron was born the son of Paul VanAuken and Debbie Priebe VanAuken on February 18, 1981 in Newark, New York. He graduated from Newark High School and was in his senior year at Potsdam. He enjoyed cars and motorcycles. Aaron loved working and being a help to children and teens.
He will be missed by his mother and her friend Debbie VanAuken and Craig Brooks of Fairville; father and step-mother Paul and Kimberlee VanAuken of Newark; sisters Caprice and Laura VanAuken; maternal grandfather James Priebe of Florida; paternal grandmother Betty VanAuken of Newark; several aunts, uncles and cousins, specially his cousin B.J.; many many friends
Aaron was predeceased by his brother Mikel in 1976; maternal grandmother Ruth Priebe and paternal grandfather Gordon VanAuken in 1999.
