Aaliyah Lanae Ince, 25, was born January 1, 1996 in Columbus, Ohio to Latoya Anderson and Rawle Ince. She was baptized April 6, 2013 and remained faithful to her love for God. Aaliyah knew wholeheartedly the power of God and was known for walking through life in prayer.
Aaliyah loved to have fun with her family and friends. She had a playful, adventurous spirit and constantly showed love to the children in her life. Aaliyah was such a lively person, often taking the time to bowl, go to amusement parks, and travel.
Aaliyah had a special compassion for the people she loved and always answered the call for help. Aaliyah was a woman that knew no boundaries. She was often self sacrificing due to her compassionate ways.
Aaliyah had a smile that warmed your heart every time you saw her. Her smile was a reflection of her true heart of love. Every time she saw you she greeted you with that genuine smile. She truly lifted heavy hearts through her smile.
Aaliyah was an example of what it means to be a light to the world. Anyone that knew her had love for her. Her common saying to those she loved was I love you more and I appreciate you. Aaliyah was a beautiful woman. She always gave you a feeling that everything would be ok. Her presence was always felt and will truly be missed.
Aaliyah is preceded in death by grandparents Maxwell and Hazel Ince, great-grandparents Benjamin and Helen Harris.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories, parents Latoya (Dwann) Anderson, Rawle Ince, siblings Alexis Pettey, Dwann Anderson Jr., La’Don Archie, Dajah Anderson, Tyson, Tyrese and Tryesha Ince, nephew Dashawn Howard, adopted daughter Kaliyah Renee Marie Ince, Grandmother Dianna Harris, a host of Aunts including Latia Josey , Ashley Ramos, Micah Dyer, Rochelle and Roxelle Ince, favorite Aunt Niecey and Danielle Harris, Godfather Neil Edwards, a host of cousins, a host of friends including Best friend Rianna Walker.
Before Aaliyah passed she was on her knees praying to God. She was asking God to help her heart be right. We’re sure Aaliyah’s prayer for all her loved ones and friends, is for their hearts to be right before God as well. Aaliyah was a beautiful woman and will greatly be missed. We love you Aaliyah.
