A. Pauline Kunkel (nee Sagan) 86, of Munster, IN, formerly of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 6, 2017, at the Community Hospital in Munster.
Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Francis Kunkel of Munster, daughters Karen (Dane) Young, Mary (Mikeal) Mahurin, and grandson Logan Young.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary, her sister Rose, her brothers Mike and Frank and several brothers-in-law.
Pauline was a generously devoted wife, mother and grandmother who embraced her feisty spirit throughout her life.
An avid golfer and card player, Pauline thrived on healthy competition and always held her Polish traditions close to her heart.
