Mr. A. J. Wortham, age 70, of Lanett, AL passed away on Sunday, August 5th, 2018 at his residence. He was born on June 1st, 1948 in Roanoke, AL.
Mr. Wortham is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy Louise Wortham; his son, Richard (Sherrie) Allen; his granddaughter, Ashley Stroud; his great-granddaughter Laiken Stroud; his nephew, David Wortham; his two nieces, Sonya (Shanon) Sturkie and Tabitha (Johnny) McCarley; a host of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Letha Sellers; his son, Jack Wortham; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Paula Wortham; and his brother, Charlie Wortham.
Mr. Wortham was a hard working man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his garden. He was a great family man and friend and loved to spend time with his great-granddaughter.
