Jim Seymore, 71 of Salem, Arkansas, passed away at his residence early in the morning on January 25. 2020.

Jim was born in Muldrow, Oklahoma on Christmas Eve 1948. Jim’s parents were the late Reverend Paul and Lena Seymore of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Jim had one sister, Mrs. Carolyn Dy and two brothers, Paul Jr. and Charles Seymore. Jim was an Air Force veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He worked many years in the printing industry and as a truck driver.

Jim faced many physical challenges as an amputee. During his later years, Jim relied heavily and was strengthened by his Christian faith. Jim courageously fulfilled his desire to live independently. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Paul and Lena Seymore and his sister, Mrs. Carolyn Dy.
